Privacy Policy

Who we are

Suggested text: Our website address is: https://tools.baseerdigitalseo.com.

Comments

Suggested text: When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

Suggested text: If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

Suggested text: If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Suggested text: Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

Suggested text: If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

Suggested text: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

Suggested text: If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Suggested text: Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

This Privacy Policy explains how Baseer Digital SEO Tools (tools.baseerdigitalseo.com, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website and free online tools.

1. Information we do not collect

You do not need an account to use our tools. We do not ask for your name, email address or payment details to use them.

2. How our tools handle your data

Tools that run in your browser

The Word Counter, Schema Markup Generator, Open Graph & Twitter Card Generator, Sitemap XML Generator, UTM Link Builder and similar text and generator tools work inside your browser. The text and details you type into them are not sent to our server and are not stored by us.

Tools that check a web address

The SEO Checker by URL and the HTTP Status & Redirect Checker need our server to visit the web address you enter. The address is used only to fetch the page and show you the result. We do not save the addresses you check or the results.

Rate limiting

To protect the service from misuse, we limit how many checks one visitor can run in a short time. For this, our server keeps a short-lived technical record that is based on a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and the time of your checks. It is kept only in temporary storage and is used only for this limit.

3. Log files

Like most websites, our web hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the time of the visit. This information is used for security, troubleshooting and basic statistics.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website, our theme and plugins, and third-party services such as advertising and analytics may use cookies to make the site work, to measure traffic and to show ads. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block cookies, some features may not work as expected.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may show ads provided by Google AdSense and other advertising partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings, or by visiting www.aboutads.info. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services on Google’s Privacy and Terms pages.

6. Analytics

We may use analytics services such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, for example which tools are popular. These services may collect information such as your approximate location, device and pages visited, using cookies or similar technology.

7. Visitors from the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you visit from these regions, you may be shown a consent message about cookies and personalised ads. You can choose which options to allow, and you can change your choice at any time where the site provides this option.

8. Third-party links

Our site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

9. Children’s privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. Because we collect very little personal information, there may be nothing to provide, but you can contact us and we will respond.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
